The following information has been received from a very upset PwC Malaysia insider, as well as taken from documents in the public domain.
In one of the civil suits where PwC Malaysia are defendants, they filed a document which was recently found out to be doctored.
When this was pointed out to them, a Senior Partner of PwC Malaysia in a sworn statement says that he is unable to:
i) verify handwritten notations on Document 41
ii) verify contents of Document 41
iii) answer why there are two pages paginated as page 19
iv) verify whether the first 19 pages were printed in a different printer from the rest of the document
v) verify when Document 41 came into existence.
The reason given was because Dato' Ramesh Rajaratnam and Mr A, who were Project Directors then, have left the firm. This is most unfair to both Dato' Ramesh Rajaratrnam and Mr A.
PwC Malaysia insiders tell us that both these men had nothing to do with the doctoring of Document 41.
If PwC Malaysia was serious about finding out who doctored the document, why not contact Dato' Ramesh Rajaratnam and Mr A, both of whom are in Kuala Lumpur and easy to reach?
Answer being both Dato' Ramesh Rajaratnam and Mr A will deny any knowledge about the doctoring of Document 41 simply because they were not involved in it.
The Media should immediately ask PwC Malaysia for a copy of the ill fated Document 41, as well as all relevant affidavits to see for themselves how PwC Malaysia has gotten itself royally stuck!!
Both these men must come up with a credible explanation for Document 41 |
