PwC Malaysia trial to resume in February 2012

"The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Former Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia, Raja Tan Sri Dato' Seri Arshad, who is currently the Maxis chairman, will be subpoenaed as a witness in relation to the sale of PwC Consulting Malaysia Sdn Bhd  to IBM worldwide, and also in relation to a sworn affidavit that he affirmed which contradicts the witness statements of Chin Kwai Fatt, V U Kumar and Jayaram Krishnamoorthy.

Dato' Seri Johan Raslan, V U Kumar and Chin Kwai Fatt will also be on the witness stand.

Unfortunately, our authorities are not as independent as some other authorities around the world.

Stephen John Mead, Senior Vice President and General  Counsel for Maxis
